In Good Company’s scratch nights are returning. This is an open call out for three theatre makers based in the Midlands who have 20 minutes of new material to test in front of a small audience. Here in the Midlands, we like to broaden our horizons so we will also have room for one visiting artist from outside the Midlands too.
As a commitment to increasing opportunities and support for all, we always shortlist at least one project with a lead artist who identifies as Black, Asian, from an ethnic minority, from a non-British background, Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay and Queer, Gender diverse, from a working class background or Deaf and Disabled people (including hidden disabilities).
The Scratch Night Details
Venue: Nonsuch Studios
Date: Friday 13th November 2020
You will also receive professional imagery and video of your performance or technical rehearsal.
- The work has to be performative but can be of any genre (new writing, live art, devised, performance installation, dance, this list goes on…).
- It must be work in progress, no longer than 20minutes, with minimal technical requirements.
- The main performance space will be studio 2, so the majority of selected work will be chosen to suit this space. However if you want to use another part of the building we’re open to suggestions!
